Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our dynamic team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with team members, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the store's overall appearance meets our standards.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Follow company procedures while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient cash register operation.
- Competence in equipment operation and general cleaning tasks.
- Interpretation and application of company policies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Capability to work independently and within a team.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
- Fulfill state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
