Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the ALDI team, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Deliver outstanding customer service, assisting shoppers during their visit
- Communicate clearly with team members and store management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accurate monitoring
- Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses
- Follow company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safe handling of equipment and compliance with procedures
- Skills in general cleaning and organizational tasks
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Capability to work independently and within a team
- Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and multitask effectively
- Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail work experience is a plus
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
