Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our dynamic team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store's cleanliness. Your dedication to providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with the ALDI team will enhance the shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Assist customers with their shopping experience and provide exceptional service.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies to minimize losses and comply with company procedures.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide courteous customer service and operate a cash register efficiently.
- Proficiency in operating equipment and performing general cleaning duties.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Attention to detail, organization, and ability to multitask.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience preferred.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
