Job Description
As a Full-Time Store Associate at Aldi, you will play a key role in ensuring the store maintains excellent presentation standards and delivers a superior customer experience. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and general cleaning tasks. By collaborating with the Aldi team, you will contribute to creating a positive shopping environment for customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service, assist customers with their shopping needs, and communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Offer feedback on products, monitor inventory accuracy, and participate in inventory counts as per guidelines.
- Adhere to cash handling policies, company procedures, and maintain document security and confidentiality.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and various store equipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and in a team environment, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience preferred.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
