Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to ensure an excellent shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's values and competencies in daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
- Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational improvements.
- Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling procedures.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures while ensuring data security.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of performing general cleaning duties and following company guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking efficiently.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales where applicable.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
