Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to provide an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.
Key Details
- Position Type: Full-Time (32-40 hours per week)
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Operate cash register efficiently and accurately
- Perform general cleaning duties and operate store equipment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
