Job Description
Join our team at ALDI as a Full-Time Store Associate! In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our store is operating efficiently and providing exceptional customer service. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, cashiering, cleaning, and enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers with their needs
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling policies
- Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring security and confidentiality
- Perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves, lifting items up to 45 pounds, and general cleaning duties
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Prior retail experience preferred
- Ability to operate a cash register and other store equipment
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
