Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to ALDI's competencies and guidelines.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Deliver top-notch customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
- Communicate with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and suggest improvements.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Follow cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies.
- Adhere to company policies and maintain confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of lifting and stocking products weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
