Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall store appearance. Your commitment to exceptional customer service and collaboration with the ALDI team will enhance the shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases and maintain cleanliness in the store
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Follow cash handling procedures to minimize losses
- Adhere to company policies with a focus on security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment
- Skilled in general cleaning tasks and following policies
- Excellent communication skills
- Capacity to work independently and within a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
