Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store operates smoothly by merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean environment. Your exceptional customer service skills will contribute to enhancing the shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
- Give feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to the management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies to minimize losses and follow company procedures.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide courteous customer service and operate a cash register efficiently.
- Capable of operating store equipment and performing cleaning tasks to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales if applicable.
- Prior retail experience preferred.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail work experience is a plus.
