Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their visit
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with management
- Conduct inventory counts, ensure accuracy, and follow cash handling procedures
- Adhere to company policies, uphold document security, and maintain confidentiality
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
- Ability to follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Excellent communication skills and the capability to work independently or in a team
- High school diploma preferred, retail experience beneficial
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior work experience in a retail environment is a plus
- A combination of education and experience to meet job requirements
