Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and offers exceptional customer service. From cashiering to stocking shelves, you will collaborate with the Aldi team to enhance the shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills as required for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide top-notch customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational improvements.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Follow company policies and procedures while maintaining document security.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years old.
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Skilled in operating cash registers accurately and efficiently.
- Capable of safely using store equipment and performing cleaning tasks to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
