Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join Aldi, a leading retail company. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the store operates smoothly and provides exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking product, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to enhance the shopping experience for customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers as needed
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to support store operations
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Follow established policies while maintaining document security and data confidentiality
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
- Capability to handle and operate store equipment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities
- Meeting local laws for alcohol handling and sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Prior retail experience is an advantage
- Equivalent combination of education and work experience
