Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our dynamic team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining the store's appearance, providing excellent customer service, and working collaboratively with the ALDI team. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, merchandising, and ensuring a clean and organized store environment.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Conduct inventory counts and monitor accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling procedures
- Comply with company policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver prompt, courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of cash register
- Safely operate equipment and perform cleaning duties
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Capability to work independently and in a team environment
- Meet state and local requirements for selling alcohol
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
- Combination of education and experience will be considered
