Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store's success by merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness. Your dedication to exceptional customer service and collaboration with the ALDI team will enhance the overall shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and store operations
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safely operate equipment and perform cleaning duties
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
