Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to ensure smooth store operations.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ACTs Competencies, and Professional Skills in your role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory management activities and uphold cash handling policies.
- Adhere to company policies, ensuring data security and confidentiality.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older to work at ALDI.
- Proficient in providing courteous customer service and operating a cash register.
- Capable of using store equipment safely and efficiently.
- Able to follow company procedures and maintain cleanliness standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking effectively.
- Meet all state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience equivalent to retail knowledge.
