Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store's smooth operation and delivering exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness to create an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $15.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and other store-related matters
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy of inventory
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses
- Comply with company policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safely operate equipment and perform cleaning duties
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail experience is a plus
