Job Description
Join our team at ALDI as a Full-Time Store Associate. Your responsibilities will include merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment. By collaborating with the ALDI team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience through exceptional service.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively within the team and with store management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues
- Participate in store inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
- Follow company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Efficient cash register operation
- Proficiency in equipment operation and general cleaning
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and multi-tasking abilities
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail experience preferred
