Job Description
We are looking for a Full Time Store Associate to join Aldi, where you will have the opportunity to play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, merchandising, and maintaining store cleanliness. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will contribute to creating a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, handle general cleaning tasks, and organize shelves.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
- Give feedback on products, inventory, and any issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures for loss prevention.
- Follow company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- Age requirement: 18 years or older.
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- Demonstrate organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
- Meet state and local regulations for handling alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in a retail setting is advantageous.
- A blend of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
