Job Description
Join our team at ALDI as a Full-Time Store Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to ensure a pleasant shopping environment for our customers. Collaboration with the ALDI team and providing exceptional customer service will be key components of your daily responsibilities.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily tasks while embodying the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide excellent customer service and support a positive shopping experience
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate any issues to management
- Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling policies
- Comply with company procedures and contribute to store security and confidentiality
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and stock products weighing up to 45 pounds
- Perform various physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods
- Capable of operating store equipment and machinery
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Customer service and retail experience preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and organizational skills
