Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the store is well-organized, stocked, and providing exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean store environment. Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Participate in inventory counts and report any issues to management
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain document security
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment
- Capable of meeting physical demands and performing general cleaning tasks
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at multitasking
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
