Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate at Aldi to join our team. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include product merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. You will collaborate with the Aldi team to ensure store operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers throughout their shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and potential issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Follow established company policies ensuring document security and data confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and related equipment.
- Capability to use store equipment effectively and safely.
- Experience in maintaining cleanliness as per company standards.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Capacity to work autonomously and within a team setting.
- Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales, where applicable.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- A mix of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
