Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks such as merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure a great shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers with their needs
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
- Follow cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies
- Adhere to company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to operate a cash register and store equipment
- Experience in a retail environment is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Demonstrate attention to detail, organization, and multitasking abilities
- Meet local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
