Job Description
We are looking for a full-time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience through exceptional customer service and collaboration with the ALDI team.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
- Follow company policies and maintain data security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
- Minimum age requirement is 18 years
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
- Capability to meet physical demands, including lifting and stocking merchandise
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is advantageous
