Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store's cleanliness to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Assist in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
- Adhere to company policies, uphold security, and maintain confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Skilled in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of general cleaning duties and following company policies.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and follow instructions efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior work experience in retail is advantageous.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
