Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment. By collaborating with the ALDI team, you will enhance the shopping experience for our customers while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Offer outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and overall store operations.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accurate monitoring of inventory levels.
- Follow cash handling policies to prevent losses and adhere to company procedures.
- Comply with company policies, ensuring security and confidentiality of data.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of maintaining cleanliness and following company policies.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is a plus.
- A combination of education and experience may be considered.
