Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and maintained to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. In addition to merchandising, stocking, and cashiering duties, you will collaborate with team members and engage with customers to deliver top-notch service.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their store visit.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational processes.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
• Follow established policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Physical Demands

• Stock and organize merchandise, lift up to 45 pounds, and handle store equipment.
• Engage in activities such as sitting, standing, bending, reaching, and walking.
• Ability to perform tasks with or without accommodations.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
• Efficient cash register operation and customer service skills.
• Safe operation of equipment and ability to follow cleaning standards.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
• Fulfill state and local requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in a retail setting is advantageous.
• A combination of education and experience is considered.
