Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Conduct store inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies to prevent losses
- Follow company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service
- Capable of operating a cash register accurately
- Able to use store equipment safely and efficiently
- Skilled in general cleaning tasks and following company procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and in a team
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcohol sales
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
