Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, stocking products, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain neat merchandise displays.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their store visit.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
- Conduct inventory counts and ensure accuracy in store inventory.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.
- Follow company policies and procedures to maintain security and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register.
- Safe and proper equipment operation.
- Interpretation and application of company policies.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Work independently and within a team.
- Stay organized, pay attention to detail, and multitask efficiently.
- Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience preferred.
- Combination of education and experience.
