Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. The successful candidate will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a top-notch shopping experience for our customers. By collaborating with the Aldi team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses
- Ensure compliance with company policies and uphold data security
- Perform other assigned duties
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safe handling of equipment and ability to operate them
- Ability to follow cleaning standards and company procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
