Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the store's success by merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) relevant to the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers throughout their shopping experience.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to support store improvement.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and maintain security and confidentiality.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Capability to interpret and apply company guidelines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
- Compliance with state and local regulations concerning alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
