Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store. Your role is crucial in providing exceptional customer service and enhancing the shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Assist customers with their shopping needs and provide outstanding customer service
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and security measures
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
- General cleaning and maintenance skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
