Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store maintains a clean and inviting environment for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly display merchandise.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
- Provide feedback to management on products, inventory, and other store-related issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts following guidelines and monitor inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies, minimize losses, and uphold company policies and procedures.
- Perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves, lifting up to 45 pounds, and general cleaning.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Prior work experience in retail preferred.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
