Job Description
As a Full-Time Store Associate at Aldi, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store operates efficiently and provides exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Collaboration with the ALDI team and adherence to company policies are key elements of this role.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service, assisting shoppers with their needs.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational matters.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Follow company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of meeting physical demands, such as lifting and stocking merchandise.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Retail experience is advantageous.
