Job Description
Join ALDI as a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) and play a vital role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. As a Store Associate, you will merchandise, stock products, cashier, and maintain the store's cleanliness to ensure a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Conduct inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Follow company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties as required
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
- Capability to execute general cleaning tasks to company standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
- Meet state and local guidelines for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
Educational and Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail work experience is a plus
