Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's overall appearance. Your commitment to exceptional customer service and collaboration with the ALDI team will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide superior customer service and assist customers during their shopping journey
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational improvements
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy of inventory
- Follow cash handling policies and company procedures diligently
- Adhere to company policies, uphold data security, and maintain confidentiality
- Accomplish any other assigned duties
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Proficient in providing courteous customer service
- Skilled in operating a cash register accurately
- Capable of operating equipment safely and effectively
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies
- Excellent communication skills
- Aptitude for working independently and collaboratively
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently
- Fulfill state and local requirements for alcohol sales if applicable
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is advantageous
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
