Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store, and supporting your team members in various tasks.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses
- Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring data security
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
- Capable of performing general cleaning tasks to company standards
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Retail experience is a plus
