Job Description
We are currently hiring for the position of Full-Time Store Associate at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a welcoming environment.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $19.50 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling policies
- Follow company procedures and policies to uphold security and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment
- Experience in retail and knowledge of company policies preferred
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in teams
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail experience is an advantage
