Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the ALDI team and provide top-notch customer service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Offer exceptional customer service and assist customers throughout their shopping journey.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and company procedures to minimize losses.
- Follow all company policies while ensuring document and data security.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register.
- Safe handling of equipment and ability to perform cleaning tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Capability to stay organized, follow instructions, and multitask effectively.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
