Job Description

Join ALDI as a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) and play a critical role in optimizing the customer shopping experience. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, cleaning, and providing exceptional customer service. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will uphold company standards, ensure inventory accuracy, and enhance the overall shopping environment.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly arrange merchandise
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
• Comply with company policies, uphold security, and confidentiality standards
• Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Prompt and courteous customer service skills
• Efficient cash register operation
• Ability to operate equipment and perform cleaning duties
• Excellent communication skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous retail experience preferred
• Combination of education and experience
