Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store's operations run smoothly by handling merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness. By providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the Aldi team, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
- Comply with company policies and uphold security and confidentiality standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
- Capability to interpret and apply company policies
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail experience is a plus
