Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. Collaborate with the ALDI team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure the store's operations run smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory management, and operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and adhere to cash handling procedures.
- Comply with company policies, maintain document security, and uphold confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years old as required.
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Ability to operate a cash register accurately and efficiently.
- Skilled in using store equipment safely and appropriately.
- Capable of following cleaning standards and company procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Aptitude for working independently or within a team environment.
- Organized, detail-oriented, able to multitask efficiently.
- Meet legal requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is advantageous.
- A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
