Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store maintains its high standards of product merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and overall cleanliness. Your commitment to excellence and exceptional customer service will contribute to enhancing the shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays.
- Provide courteous and efficient customer service, assisting shoppers with their needs.
- Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational aspects to improve store performance.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize errors and losses.
- Follow company policies and procedures while upholding document security and confidentiality.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment.
- Ability to lift and move merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Meet local requirements for selling alcohol.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience equivalent to required knowledge.
