Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training to prepare you for the responsibilities of running your own store successfully. Your role will involve supervising daily store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff schedules, and developing operational strategies. You will mentor and lead a team while upholding the core values of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily store activities to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Communicate and uphold company values to foster teamwork among staff.
- Manage customer concerns and ensure resolutions are reached promptly.
- Maintain store signage and product quality to meet ALDI standards.
- Participate in the hiring and training of store personnel.
- Prepare and manage weekly schedules to optimize staffing levels.
- Set performance expectations and conduct evaluations for direct reports.
- Monitor store budget and implement loss prevention measures.
- Provide feedback on product selection and merchandising.
- Ensure a safe environment for employees, customers, and vendors.
Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Excellent customer service and leadership skills.
- Understanding of company policies and ability to apply them effectively.
- Experience in retail environment, with prior management experience preferred.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma preferred, with at least 3 years of retail experience. Prior management experience is a plus.
