Full-Time Store Manager Trainee

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training to prepare you for managing all aspects of store operations effectively. You will supervise daily activities, ensure exceptional customer service, handle staffing needs, and create operational plans while nurturing and developing a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily store operations to deliver top-tier customer service.
• Understand and communicate the company's strategy and core values to foster teamwork.
• Manage customer concerns and maintain product quality and store signage.
• Participate in hiring and training store personnel.
• Develop and adjust schedules to meet staffing requirements.
• Evaluate employee performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure store budget and financial targets are met.
• Maintain a competitive edge by monitoring the market environment.
• Oversee product display and stock levels, conduct inventory counts.
• Adhere to company policies and ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to lead and motivate others.
• Good understanding of retail management principles.
• Experience operating cash registers and retail equipment.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of retail experience, managerial experience preferred.
