Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive route paperwork, truck assignment, and route instructions
- Conduct inspections in compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations
- Verify load securement and destination
- Follow route plan and meet delivery/pickup requirements
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation
- Report hours of service accurately using electronic logging devices (ELDs)
- Ensure well-rested condition before work shifts
- Document and report any equipment concerns
