Duties and responsibilities:
- Receive and review route paperwork and equipment instructions
- Perform pre-trip, inter trip, and post trip inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
- Secure and load cargo appropriately
- Follow route plans and delivery requirements
- Complete required paperwork accurately
- Report hours of service in compliance with DOT regulations using an electronic logging device
- Maintain vehicle upkeep and report any issues promptly
