Job Description
The essential functions and basic duties of the Company Driver include performing pre and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring safe and effective loading/unloading, and operating equipment such as tractor/trailer/yard truck/straight truck. They are responsible for reviewing paperwork for accuracy, checking orders, delivering and unloading products, maintaining DOT compliance, and communicating professionally with customers and vendors to ensure on-time deliveries.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive route paperwork, truck, and trailer assignment instructions.
- Conduct pre and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Verify load and destination, secure cargo properly.
- Complete store cleanouts and return items to the distribution center.
- Ensure all cargo is secure during the delivery route.
- Accurately report hours of service using an electronic logging device.
