Job Description

We are looking to hire a dedicated Local City Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team at ABF Freight in Brooklyn, NY. This full-time position involves the pickup and delivery of cargo within proximity of the distribution center, utilizing proper techniques and procedures. The role requires individuals with the necessary experience and qualifications to ensure safe and efficient transportation operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform pickups and deliveries of cargo to designated destinations.
• Utilize forklifts and adhere to loading/unloading procedures.
• Follow specified schedules as per terminal location requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience.
• Class-A CDL with specific endorsements.
• Stable work record and safe driving history.
• Ability to pass DOT drug screening and medical assessments.
