Infection Control Nurse -- LPN/LVN

Job Description

Genesis HealthCare is seeking an Infection Control Nurse -- LPN/LVN to join our clinical team. As an Infection Preventionist, you will play a crucial role in managing the Infection Prevention and Control Program for one or multiple centers. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of activities including infection control, outbreak management, employee health, and surveillance of outcomes and processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Infection Prevention and Control Activities.
• Manage Outbreaks and conduct Employee Health assessments.
• Analyze, control, and report infections through surveillance.
• Provide education and act as a resource for staff members.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current LPN/LVN licensure from State Board of Nursing.
• Specialized training in infection prevention and control.
• Minimum three years of nursing experience.
• Experience in long-term care nursing preferred.
